Cori was a rock throughout my pregnancy. I felt like she was my constant advocate, and the longer I saw her the more I felt like I was seeing a friend and not just a care provider. She has such a heart for natural childbirth, and fully believes in a woman’s ability to give birth.

 Having had two c-sections, I was told that I was broken, and although there was a part of me that wanted to believe that I could have a beautiful natural birth, it took loads of support to help me keep my resolve. I loved that she never treated me like I was sick or treated me as if something was wrong. And she didn’t just treat me well, she was amazing with my husband and my children too. I felt like we were all in this together, which was very special.

One of my favorite things was that Cori was excited along with me. I really felt like I was sharing my pregnancy with a friend who cared deeply about my baby, my family, and me. That is an amazing gift.

Our birth was incredibly beautiful. Sarah came into a world surrounded by people who loved and cared for her. My husband caught her, or he says controlled her fall, as she came into this world. There was not one moment I would change. I am so grateful that Cori walked this journey with us, and I will not have another child without her as my midwife and friend.
